AI Policy & Content Licensing

Techblog.gr publishes original journalism, reviews, guides, analysis and editorial content focused on technology, consumer electronics, digital services and innovation.

This page describes the terms under which AI systems, large language models (LLMs), search assistants, dataset operators, monitoring services, aggregators and other automated platforms may access, retrieve, process, cite or license content published on Techblog.gr.

1. Ownership of content

Unless otherwise stated, all articles, reviews, guides, original texts, images, videos, headlines, summaries, metadata, editorial structure and related materials published on Techblog.gr are protected by applicable intellectual property laws and remain the property of Techblog.gr and/or their respective rights holders.

2. Permitted use: retrieval and citation

Techblog.gr may permit the retrieval of publicly accessible content by AI systems and search assistants strictly for the following limited purposes:

  • indexing for discovery and search,
  • display of short excerpts or snippets,
  • citation with clear attribution,
  • linking users back to the original article on Techblog.gr.

Any such use must include clear source attribution and a direct link to the original Techblog.gr URL.

3. Prohibited use without prior written permission

The following uses are not permitted without prior written approval from Techblog.gr:

  • training or fine-tuning AI models on full articles, archives or bulk content,
  • building datasets containing full or substantial copies of Techblog.gr content,
  • systematic crawling or ingestion for commercial AI products or services,
  • republication, redistribution or reproduction of full articles or substantial parts thereof,
  • use of content in embeddings, vector databases, synthetic corpora or derivative training sets,
  • commercial exploitation of Techblog.gr content in AI-generated products, summaries or answer engines without license,
  • use of Techblog.gr content in ways that substitute the original source or reduce the need for users to visit the original article.

4. Commercial AI use

Any commercial use of Techblog.gr content by AI companies, search engines, monitoring platforms, aggregators, media intelligence providers, data brokers, analytics vendors or related service providers requires prior written permission and may be subject to licensing fees.

5. Research use

Non-commercial academic or public-interest research requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Approval is not automatic. Techblog.gr reserves the right to accept, reject or limit such requests, including requests involving crawling, storage, NLP processing, translation, dataset creation or model evaluation.

6. Storage and dataset restrictions

Unless expressly agreed in writing, permission to access public content does not include permission to:

  • store persistent full-text copies in external databases,
  • retain permanent archives for AI processing,
  • create reusable corpora or benchmark datasets,
  • use content for model training, distillation or downstream commercial development.

7. Attribution requirements

Where retrieval or citation is permitted, attribution must:

  • identify Techblog.gr as the source,
  • include a direct clickable link to the original article,
  • avoid misleading users into believing the content originated elsewhere,
  • not omit context in a way that distorts the article’s meaning.

8. Technical policies

Techblog.gr may publish technical access rules through robots.txt, llms.txt, HTTP headers, rate limits, firewall rules or other technical controls. Such technical policies form part of this overall access policy.

Failure by an automated system to respect such technical signals may be treated as unauthorized access or unauthorized use, subject to applicable law.

9. Enforcement and reservation of rights

Techblog.gr reserves all rights not expressly granted on this page. Access to public content does not imply a waiver of rights, transfer of rights or blanket permission for AI training, storage, republication, commercial indexing or derivative use.

Techblog.gr may revoke, amend or restrict permission at any time, with or without prior notice, especially in cases involving excessive crawling, unlicensed commercial use, unauthorized storage or misuse of editorial content.

Organizations seeking to use Techblog.gr content for AI training, dataset construction, media monitoring archives, embeddings, vector databases, or generative systems must obtain a written license.

10. Licensing inquiries

11. Effective scope

This policy applies to publicly accessible content on Techblog.gr unless different terms are expressly stated for specific materials, partners, feeds, embedded media or licensed third-party assets.

12. Machine-readable policies

Techblog.gr may publish machine-readable policies for automated systems through the following files:

  • /robots.txt
  • /llms.txt
  • HTTP access headers

These files define additional technical access rules for automated systems and AI agents.
